Re: Petitions, assault on reason and associated idiocies

Could the resident bleeding hearts please discontinue with their self-imagined magnanimous acts, and focus on the real world. As more information becomes available, the picture becomes clearer, and old preconceptions - which so often surface under these conditions - are pushed into the cesspool of lies and treachery, in all but the most deluded minds.

The issues of working conditions, of company behaviour and the associated - currently employed - excuses, are all very real, and all very much irrelevant in the situation at hand. The working conditions are not good, but we are as much to blame for them as the company you so relish to vilify. The maddening pace of the entertainment industry has been driven by our taste, our thirst, and our demands. Let’s not claim the moral heights, pretend like loyalties don’t waver in absence, and that artists and companies are not forced into working at their current back-braking pace, in order to remain relevant and remain supported. Again, all the oft mentioned issues are very real, very much in need of being addressed – but, today, this week, this month, they are irrelevant, and are not the cause of that for which they are blamed.

We, the majority, have been silent, civil and peaceful throughout this ordeal, but after the events of the last few days, it has become the height of rudeness for anyone to expose us to baseless justifications and ‘chronicles of martyrdom’ of the minority, which has neither been wronged, nor is it a victim. Support whomever you please, but kindly restrain yourself from broadcasting your phantasmagorical excuses for the inexcusable, because they border on being insulting.

Let’s lovingly support EXO – the one, only and united – without falling pray to the products of a select few’s abuse of reason
